It is incorrect as it is done by local time yes. This is unfortunate, but it was highly unlikely they would be working at 2am.

Though, doesn't bother me too much as now I'll actually be able to play without missing the launch, well, by 8 hours. I finish work at 5 so I'm more glad I didn't skip work to sort it out, knowing there will most likely be a looonggg as download time.

Alright for the 100th time: at 10am (dofus time) they are releasing the new server zatoishwan or something like that, and that will be the 2.0 server for the time being. Because they have to transfer the other servers over from 1.29 > 2.0. You will still be able to play your normal servers rosal etc.
And for clarification, for those who are inevitably going to ask. You will need the new client, the server...

Why don't you read all the previous posts before commenting, they are very insightful, rather than just posting and filling up a thread with the same questions. If one were to refer to the thread made when open beta began it clearly...
