Can't connect my account to steam.

While my computer was broken I started playing on mobile for a while, after a while after it got back I wanted to start playing on PC but when I try linking accounts I get this. "we were unable to contact authentication server. Please check internet settings or try again in a few minutes" I've been trying for the last day and a half.
