From my experience playing as a Foggernaut who uses Motherfogger mode quite a lot (no Fogginator vs. Motherfogger debate here please) I've noticed many people don't seem to know or understand how the passive attack you do at the start of a mob's turn, while in motherfogger mode, works.
While a mob is in your line of sight, 6 or more tiles away and you're in motherfogger mode at the start of the mob's turn you get to hit it with an attack somewhat weaker than "Ray of Stasis" (i.e. the 2AP stasis...
In that case the damage for fogginator+ fire&oil will stay basically the same while motherfogger will get a overall 15% nerf. That's far less harsh than the original debuff. I heard about but couldn't find that notification about the buff so I assumed it was only a player suggestion and not actual ankama policy. Good to know I was wrong on that one. I just want to illustrate what exactly will change damage wise for foggers and everyone else that would have attacked with a spell of the element that was reduced by a fogger.
TL: DR Version: Without the debuff foggers will do 25% less damage to bosses and any surviving mobs after the first turn of attacks and about 20% less damage on the last heart of steam...
