My class change was undone by a name change

I wanted to class change a character of mine to a Cra, so I bought a 1-200 class change scroll and used it. After that, I thought to myself "Oh! I should change their name too," so I bought a name change for the same character. I go back to the character menu, select the character that I'm class changing, and the class change menu comes up, but my name is locked. Weird, but okay. I finish up with the class change portion, and it takes me back to the character select screen. Selecting the character...

As far as I can tell, the passive evolutions for both Raiding and Canine Art do absolutely nothing. They are identical in all respects at level 1 or level 2. Is this a known issue?
