Text Wrapping, Why Not?

Look, I get that making text look pretty and readable is difficult, but surely it's not that much of a stretch that it could be made to wrap around? like 99.99% of every other piece of text display ever?

The way the text display of spell effects is handled is older than I am, and has no place being in a game still actively developed in 2021. It's not only inefficient, but restrictive; now these poor developers have to write descriptions that are widely cut down for the sole purpose of making it...
