Need help wtih a Distance damage Elio build

My character is only 106 at the moment and it feels like my rotations just aren't hitting hard enough. I see guides say I need force of will but I don't really understand why that stat is necessary for a mainly damage build. If it's just a matter my gear being bad that's fine but I'd love some help with a good rotation guide/explanation for Distance/single.

The negative armor doesn't seem to actually proc on anything. Is this just me? Yes the enemy is marked with prey beforehand

I'm not sure if it was clearly stated or if it's a bug but what happened to Ecaflips' fire branch skills? There's no dice to show you their results for D-six, there are just little fumes of fire now. It's so lackluster and I can't even tell when i get a 6 unless the enemy takes extra damage? There's nothing bouncing between enemies for die alright, the only signs of an enemy taking damage is just numbers over their head with little flickers. Craps looks fine even though they completely removed the...
