Doing s5 and boss is hitting my guys for 500x4 all element, 3 times per turn even though I have 50%+ all res. After making the emperor jellix absorb a jelly his res reduces, but he still does all element damage, there's no way to tank it

Besides the Length sublimation, how else am i suppose to increase my distance hero damage, I'm trying to play AOE Cra, how do I go about sublimating my gear for maximum damage?
Burning passive gives 100% of level as Flaming if ending turn adjacent to enemies
100% + 100% should be 200% but flaming still only goes up to 100%
